New Prayer Focus in 2025

Prayer Ministries invites and challenges every member in UCC to participate in a growing experience with Jesus called, "Grounded and Growing Vertically."  We will spend the first 18 days of the year praying.  February 1-13 we will be reading through Steps to Christ & then the book -- one chapter each evening. A group is also going through the book, Prayer, weekly on Friday nights, through the rest of year.

Both books are by Ellen G. White and will fill you with amazing ideas and quotes on prayer and growth throughout the year. Along with these book challenges, we invite you to pray for Pentecost 2025 (see below). We will keep this list in our current prayer focus on a weekly basis! Prayer Blanket Ministry

This ministry operated by UCC Prayer Ministries, invites church and prayer groups to create prayer blankets to give to people for whom you are praying. UCC Prayer Ministries is accepting applications for up to 15 churches to receive funds to begin this ministry.

Praying Wednesday to Wednesday

 Praying Together, April 9, 2025 



• Pray for the members and leaders of Grand Coulee, Grandview, and Granger Spanish Adventist Churches that God will guide them each day. 
• Pray for the city leaders of these towns in Lewis County, Idaho. Pray for the mayor, police chief, fire chief, sheriff and council leaders for Kamiah, Craigmont, Nezperce, Winchester and Reubens, Idaho. 
• Pray for the prayer leaders for Lovewell and Living Hope, and Leavenworth Adventist churches. Pray also for Dana Farnes, Shuree Torgerson and Neva Bracket who lead in prayer ministry in Lifesource, Lewiston and Kettle Falls Adventist churches respectively. 
• Pray for Pentecost 2025 and that God will send the power of the Holy Spirit to all of his people. We pray this along with Mid-America Union. 
• Pray for each UCC Administrator and Director and all pastors and teachers, that God will guide their footsteps. 
• Pray this promise for your life: So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:6. 
• Pray for churches holding Big Events for Easter Weekend. Pray for each actor, participant and for each who will attend. Pray that many will find Jesus through Journey to the Cross at Spokane Valley and "War in Heaven" at the Coeur d'Alene SDA Church.

Praying Together, April 2, 2025 

• Pray for the members and leaders of Condon, Deer Park, Goldendale and Good News Fellowship Adventist churches, that God's Holy Spirit Power will fill every nook and cranny of their hearts. 
• Pray for Marlow Ringering, prayer leader for Moses Lake Church.
• Pray for the Prayer leaders of Moscow, Milton Freewater Spanish, Milton, and Mattawa Spanish Adventist Churches, that God will empower them to grow more prayer and awareness of answers to prayer in their church and community. 
• Pray for each teacher and staff and board of Walla Walla University, that God will fill them with his wisdom and love.  Pray also for WWU Days coming up this weekend.
• Pray for Pentecost 2025 for the Power of the Holy Spirit to fall in abundance. We pray for this along with the Mid-America Union. 
• Pray this Bible Promise for your life: "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" Mark 11:24. 
• Pray for each director, administrator, pastor, teacher, board member and member of the Upper Columbia Conference, that we can serve in unity of purpose for the King of Heaven! 
• Pray for each church that is holding a Big Event for Easter Weekend to share stories of Jesus. Pray for each actor, participant and for each who will attend. Journey to the Cross at Spokane Valley and "War in Heaven" at the Coeur d'Alene SDA Church are a couple.
• Pray for each event happening at our churches in April from Adventures, Pathfinders, dinner with the doctor, concerts, garden or grief events and camp meetings.
