Prayer Focus in 2026
Prayer Ministries invites and challenges every member in UCC to participate in Prayer and Bible Study. It is time to allow God access to all our time and all we have to further His kingdom.
We invite you to pray weekly or daily with a group in addition to your own personal times of prayer and Bible Study. See the calendar below to join others in daily prayer and Bible study times.
Prayer Blanket Ministry
This ministry invites church and prayer groups to create prayer blankets to give to people for whom you are praying. Here are tutorials for both making them and how to give them at a personal prayer session.

Praying Together Prayer List
Each week, pray for the following items making them personal for your church and community.
- Pray for family, children, spouse, for all to accept salvation, the most important gift from Jesus!
- Pray for your church, its members, and its building, community, and missionary projects
- Pray for each gift from God, that we will be good stewards of every gift.
- Pray for local Christian & public schools: teachers and school boards.
- Pray for the outpouring of God's Holy Spirit on every pastor & member of all churches in Upper Columbia Conference, for unity to share the Gospel.
- Pray for your city, its leaders, local food banks & community services.
- Pray for your church prayer leader. If you don’t have one, pray for one.
- Pray for the Prayer Action Committee PAC, that God will empower it to make a difference in Upper Columbia Conference for eternity. (This is the committee that operates the prayer summits and one-day retreats each year as well as sends out Praying Together News).
- Pray for each Pathfinder and Adventurer club. If your church does not have these clubs, pray for God to help your church start them.
- Pray for the homeless, poor & sick; for God to heal.
- Pray for special summer camps, like Camp MiVoden or others throughout the summer and year.
- Pray for God to reveal His will, pour out His Holy Spirit upon all of his people all over the world
- Pray for the conflict in the world events, leaders of our nation, state, county, and communities.
- Pray for God to give you a special Bible promise for the day as you read His word -- DAILY BIBLE PROMISE
- Pray to belong to a prayer group where you encourage each other through prayer and fellowship.
Do you need others to pray for you? The UCC Prayer Team would like to pray for you. Contact the UCC Prayer Team by going to uccsda.org/#prayer.
Prayer Action Committee
The Prayer Action Committee is made of of prayer leaders from churches all over the conference who are volunteering to make the prayer summit happen each year. The PAC is responsible for the spring one-day prayer event as well.

A Day of Prayer: Repairing the Breach. April 25, 2026
Kevin Wilfley will share ways to pray and communicate with God which will repair your connection with God. Seminars on scripture memorization, praying scripture, and praying for our children will also be shared. This one-day prayer event is at the Spokane Linwood SDA Church. Registration that morning begins at 9 a.m. Plan on a full day, (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) of inspiration. Lunch is provided. Sign up begins soon. Almost Home Prayer Summit. October 2-4, 2026
Jerry and Zac Page will ignite your prayer life at this prayer-full weekend at Camp MiVoden. The yearly prayer summit is for all prayer leaders and prayer group leaders attend. You will want to hear this father/son duo, speaking together for the first time. Both have a unique perspectives that will inspire and ignite your prayer life. Save the date, Online Registration will be available in June.
Reading the Bible and joining with others in Zoom
in 2026 we are using the Variety Bible reading plan through the Revival Reformation site to help families and individuals find meaningful fellowship reading the word together and praying together.

Family Worship
Beginning January 18, each Sunday, there will be a Family Worship Option posted in the calendar for a Bible Story to read through together with activities and games that will help your children build their own faith and a strong connection to Jesus. Read together and discuss as a family or come together at 7 p.m. each Sunday on Zoom.
