Glenn Silver

Men's Ministry Council

Lives in Walla Walla, WA with his father who he is helping taking care of.  Glenn is a veteran retired from the Air Force and a retired Family Nurse Practitioner.  He has two wonderful daughters, three grandsons and one granddaughter.

Although raised an Adventist it never went any deeper than intellectual knowledge.  Like most men, Glenn searched for meaning in a lot of places and ended up joining a motorcycle club.  One day he was personally invited to join a Men’s Ministry bible study group.  It wasn’t what he thought it would be as these men were open, honest and what was said in the group stayed in the group.  It was a safe place.  Jesus met him right where he was at when he heard Ezekial 36:26-27 “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.  And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.” Glenn found what he had been missing, a heart of flesh and a relationship with the one who came to “bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoner.” Isaiah 61:1. Without Men’s Ministry Glenn’s story and life would be drastically different.  Literally, Men’s Ministry saved me!

Now Glenn loves giving back through service, which really charges his battery, he serves as a chaplain at the Christian Aid Center and recently started a lawn mowing ministry in his community.

When Glenn is not speaking into the lives and hearts of men he enjoys his motorcycle, shooting, kayaking, fishing and camping to name just some of his hobbies.
