Camp MiVoden Prepares to Reopen

Summer camp set to reopen for summer!
Dear Friends of MiVoden and our Upper Columbia Conference Family,
After much prayer, we are excited to announce that Camp MiVoden is a “go” for this summer, and we can’t wait for our campers to show up! Things will look a little different this year as we implement precautions and safety protocols to help keep our campers safe. We will continue to operate within the guidelines of our county, state, and federal governments along with the American Camping Association (ACA). Our staff will be working hard to minimize COVID risks while maintaining the charm of the MiVoden experience. We’ll be sending out more information over the next few weeks through our website, social media accounts, and email to help you know what is happening this summer.
For those planning on attending or thinking of attending camp this summer, we will let you know what to expect and how to best plan for your time at camp. This week we will also be updating our website at www.mivoden.com. We look forward to running camp this summer and seeing many of you at MiVoden!

From April 26 to May 3, 2026, a group of 82 Maranatha volunteers, ranging from 8–87 years old, repaired, restored and renovated Camp MiVoden in preparation for summer ministry.
“Try with Jesus” was the rallying cry of the evangelistic caravan, which took place in nine different locations across Upper Columbia Conference from April 17–25, 2026.
During a meeting of the Upper Columbia Conference executive committee held May 7, 2026, Richie Brower was appointed as director of the recently formed community engagement department.

This spring, Yakima Valley Adventurers enjoyed an exciting and educational field trip to learn more about bees, honey production, and polination.
Academy Students were selected by their schools for exemplifying the spirit of the Caring Heart — a willingness to serve others.
The final executive committee meeting for the 2021–2025 term met May 12–13 to reflect on the past, nominate new leaders and prepare for NPUC's 30th constituency session.
