Dustin Jones, MA, is the director of communications for the Upper Columbia Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. His primary focus is developing communications strategies for the churches and schools in parts of Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. In addition, he serves as special assistant to the president for communications.
Dustin has worked in the field of public relations and marketing for more than 20 years. His career has focused on education and health care, with significant emphasis on international health. He has previously led marketing communications for Kalispell Regional Healthcare in Kalispell, Montana, and led the office of public relations for Loma Linda University Health, a health sciences center with six hospitals, eight schools, and more than 31,000 faculty, students, and staff. Dustin also directed the public relations program for Adventist Health International, working with 19 hospitals and 70 clinics in 22 countries around the world. He holds bachelor’s degrees in public relations and journalism and a master’s degree in administration and leadership. Dustin and his wife, Heidi, moved to Spokane in 2020 and have two little boys.
