Rob and Beth Folkenberg

On Sabbath afternoon, June 23, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Big Tent, Rob and Beth Folkenberg will present a concert.

Rob and Bethany Folkenberg are an acoustic folk duo about to release their first album this August. Together with their instruments - guitar, harp, cello, and piano -  they draw on broad musical tastes to create a collage of sound that expresses their own praises and perspectives. RobandBethFolkenberg.jpg

"Some of our earliest memories of each other are of listening and being drawn to each other from the opposite sides of orchestra/choir. We've brought together a mix of instruments and vocal ranges along with classical training and broad exposure to various genres that have formed an interesting sound palette that we enjoy - our own unique way of praising God and sharing reflections from life’s journey."

Rob and Beth have a life beyond music. Rob is currently pursuing his Masters of Divinity from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University, and Bethany is an elementary school teacher who is currently a full-time mom and also working toward her doula certification. In their leisure time Bethany and Rob enjoy travel, ethnic food, long runs and laughs with their 2-year old daughter Eliza.
