Moving to Texas

Tamara and Randy Terry have three sons, Joey, Jonathan, and James.

SPOKANE, Wash., April 10, 2017 – Randall Terry, Upper Columbia Conference vice president of finance, shared with conference staff that he has accepted a call to serve as the treasurer for the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists effective May 1, 2017.

In an email to staff Randy said, “Tamara and I have always looked to the Lord’s leading when making decisions, especially relocation ones, and clearly see His hand at work with this move. We are very thankful for the Lord leading us to the Pacific Northwest and for the friendships we’ve made.  It has been my privilege and pleasure to serve this Conference for the past 6 ½ years.”

“It has been an honor for me to work with Randy here in Upper Columbia Conference. Randy has used his talents to bless our conference and give it solid fiscal leadership. His passion for the mission of the church will be deeply missed,” said Paul Hoover, UCC president.

Tamara Terry is the part-time assistant director for children’s ministries, women’s ministries, Adventist Community Services and disaster response for UCC. She also works part-time for Upper Columbia Academy as their communication coordinator, media arts instructor and Prayer PATCH director.

Randy and his wife, Tamara, shepherd a family that includes three active young men. Joey, Jonathan, and James. Tamara will finish out the school year working for both Upper Columbia Academy and Upper Columbia Conference and join Randy in June.

The Terrys enjoy outdoor family time including bicycling, hiking and kayaking.
