SPOKANE, Wash., March 18, 2013 - Con Brio, a strings music group from Rogers Adventist School, presented a half hour concert last Monday morning at the conference office in Spokane.

Under the direction of Noel Jabagat, the group performed several classical and spiritual pieces that brought amens and applause from the crowd of about 30 staff members at the church office. Larry Marsh, vice-president for education for Upper Columbia Conference invited the music group to play for the office's staff worship held each Monday morning.

After the concert the group went to the South Hill area of Spokane to tour St. John's Cathedral and had the opportunity to play their instruments in that setting.

"In planning for the worship service at the office, I decided we should do something different for a change," said Marsh, "and I thought it would be a great opportunity for one of our elementary school music groups to perform in a new venue and get a learning field trip in the process."
